     The purpose of this site is to give you some information about the services I offer in the fields of arbitration and mediation, paticularly of disputes in the merger and acquisition arena, and other complex commercial disputes, and some background information about me.  

     I also offer consulting services for m&a and complex securities and corporate matters, and expert witness services in those areas, including attorney malpractice.

     Here are links to an e-mail I sent in early June, 2009, and to my C.V., which you should be able to visit merely by clicking on the underscored items.  Both items describe my experience as an arbitrator in a heavily-litigated dispute over a $445 million acquisition of a quasi-public company by a public company.
                                                                                     
     The final paragraph of my C.V. gives some recent information on my
being added to the AAA’s Roster of Neutrals, to CPR’s Panel of Distinguished Neutrals  and to the roster of public arbitrators by FINRA and as an arbitrator (chair-qualified) with the Cook County Circuit Court Mandatory Arbitration Program and as a Court Certified Mediator with that Court’s Law and Chancery Divisions, a 40-hour Mediation Certification Training Course I completed in October, 2009, and some of my arbitration training.
 
     There is also a note that I am teaching a course in m&a in the Spring Quarters of 2010 - 2012 (late March to early June) to undergraduates in Northwestern University’s Harvey Kapnick Business Institutions Program.
